2. What days do the girls practice?

Repertoire, Allegra, Brava and Concerta rehearse on Tuesday evenings. Ensemble rehearses on Wednesday evenings. PGC Coastside rehearses Thursday afternoons.

3. What time do rehearsals occur?

Repertoire I, Allegra I and Brava I rehearse from 4:00-5:30 p.m. Repertoire II, Allegra II, Brava II and Concerta rehearse from 5:45-7:15 p.m.

PGC Coastside rehearses from 3:30 – 5:00 p.m.

4. Is there a difference between the I and II groups?

Both sections of a chorus cover the same repertoire and material. The reason for having two meetings is to offer alternative rehearsal periods and to accommodate the large number of girls who wish to sing with us.

5. How much does it cost?

Tuition for the year is $1300, plus a one-time $130 registration fee, due upon joining. Siblings pay a reduced rate of $1250. Families purchase their own uniforms, which cost on average $50-$75. Tuition Assistance is available for qualified families, pending Board approval.

6. How young can my daughter be?

Girls can audition as young as 6 years old, providing they are able to read simple lyrics and can focus for a 90-minute rehearsal.

7. Does the chorus tour?

The performing groups have toured extensively. Please see our website under “concerts” for a listing of our past tours.

8. Is there a uniform?

Each chorus level has a dress uniform and a casual uniform which are purchased by singers' families.

9. Do they wear the uniform to rehearsals?

No. Singers are encouraged to wear comfortable, casual clothing to rehearsal.
