F.A.Q.

Where are rehearsals held?

Is there a difference between groups I and II?
All sections of a chorus cover the same repertoire and material. The reason for having multiple meetings is to offer alternative rehearsal periods and to accommodate the large number of girls who wish to sing with us.
How much does it cost?
Tuition for the 2026-2027 season is $1750 for Repertoire, $1800 for Allegra, Brava and Concerta, and $1850 for Ensemble, plus a one-time $180 registration fee, due upon joining. Families purchase their own uniforms, which cost on average $50–$75. Tuition Assistance is available for qualified families, pending Board approval.
How young can my daughter be?
Singers must have completed Kindergarten and be at least 6 years of age by the first rehearsal of the semester in order to sing with PGC.
Does the chorus tour?
The performing groups have toured extensively. Please see our website under “touring” for a listing of our past tours.
Is there a uniform?
Each chorus level has a dress uniform and a casual uniform which are purchased by singers' families.
Do they wear the uniform to rehearsals?
Singers do not need to wear their uniforms to rehearsals; we encourage comfortable, casual clothing that allows for movement.
