PGC Coastside

PGC Coastside is a satellite program for singers on the coast, in Half Moon Bay, Montara, and surrounding areas. There are two choruses offered - PGC Coastside at Hatch Elementary school (grades 3-5) and PGC Coastside Intermediate Choir (Grades 5-8). Singers learn the vocal technique necessary to create a lovely choral sound including; proper breath support, vowel placement and shape, musical accuracy, posture, diction and intonation. Performance skills and etiquette are also emphasized. Singers receive training in musicianship and music literacy as well. Some music is performed in foreign languages, with emphasis on Spanish-language literature, given that many of our PGC Coastside members are Spanish speakers. Tuition for PGC Coastside is $600 for the year.
